Opening on May 8, 2026, BODY / BEYOND: Fashion That Transforms will feature 25 garments spanning 1950s couture to avant-garde ensembles of the 2010s, these designs blur the boundary between fashion and sculpture, function and fantasy. They invite you to look closely and to reconsider the way the body can be seen.

Spring Blooms presented by Wild Birds Unlimited is back at Newfields, and no matter the weather, our spring traditions start with a bloom. Now through Mother’s Day, more than 50,000 new bulbs including daffodils, hyacinths, tulips and more will emerge to blanket every corner of The Garden.

No matter the weather outside, Newfields will be in full bloom with four days of flower power. Art in Bloom presented by LINNEA is back at Newfields for its sixth spectacular year. From Thursday, March 19 through Sunday, March 22, the Indianapolis Museum of Art will be teeming with more than 50 floral installations by acclaimed designers, each inspired by work in the IMA Galleries.

Orchids are back at Newfields. For the first time since 2021, guests can participate in the centuries-old tradition of finding joy and inspiration in colorful blooms during the gray days of winter.

This fall, Newfields will once again transform its 52-acre Garden into a glowing autumn wonderland as Harvest Nights presented by Everwise Credit Union returns from September 26 through November 2. Now in its sixth year, the Indianapolis tradition promises a mix of returning favorites and imaginative new experiences that capture the magic of the season.

Local artists of all disciplines and mediums are setting up on the Sutphin Mall this Saturday, August 16 at Newfields for the second annual Black Art Market.
