Local artists of all disciplines and mediums are setting up on the Sutphin Mall this Saturday, August 16 at Newfields for the second annual Black Art Market. The event, free and open to the public, gives local artists a space to showcase their work, connect with the community and celebrate the Indianapolis arts culture.
Music and live demonstrations from the artists, surrounded by 30 local vendors, is a perfect Saturday afternoon amidst art and nature. Black Art Market is founded by local artist and guest curator Angelita Hampton.
