The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis is calling on the community to lace up their walking shoes for a cause that has touched countless lives across the state. The 35th annual Indiana AIDS Walk will take place Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center in downtown Indianapolis.

For more than three decades, the Indiana AIDS Walk has stood as a beacon of compassion, solidarity, and action—raising both funds and awareness for Hoosiers living with HIV. This year’s goal is to raise $200,000, which will go directly toward essential services such as:

  • Medication and medical care

  • Housing assistance

  • Food and nutrition

  • Transportation to appointments

  • Emergency and support services

In 2024, the event exceeded expectations, bringing in more than $260,000 thanks to the generosity of walkers, donors, and sponsors statewide. These contributions provided life-saving treatment and vital resources for individuals and families in need, while also working to combat stigma surrounding HIV.

“The Walk is more than just a fundraiser. It’s a show of support, love, and commitment to our neighbors living with HIV,” said Jason Grisell, President & CEO of The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis. “Every dollar raised helps provide life-saving care and basic needs for some of Indiana’s most vulnerable residents.”

Participants can sign up as individuals, form a team, or join an existing one. Upon registration, each walker will receive a personal fundraising page to share with friends and family, helping to amplify the impact. Proceeds benefit the Indiana AIDS Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by HIV.
