Central Indiana is home to many talented musicians, but how does a musician take that creativity and passion beyond a mere hobby? This course offers the tools and techniques to build a career in the music industry. Professional musician, composer and author Brett Wiscons has turned his passion into a successful career, touring the country, sharing stages with renowned artists and headlining his own shows. He sells his CDs and books through Amazon and other outlets. In the class, Wiscons will share some of the career-building tools that have brought him success. Participants will learn about topics including recording, touring, sync licensing, branding, merchandising and forming an LLC.
