Community theaters, dance companies, and film projects across the Indianapolis area are casting right now. Every call-out here includes what they’re looking for, when to show up, and what to bring, so you can walk in prepared instead of guessing. Check back often, because new roles open every week.
Seeking AEA and Non-Union actors for productions during the First Half of 2027 Season who are racially, ethnically, and physically diverse, as well as inclusive of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities. Start time: 10 AM. End singing auditions: 2 PM. Dance call back 2 - 4 PM
Supporting Role Auditions Please note auditions are being held at Geist Christian Church across the street from Mud Creek Theater. If you would like to be considered for the below roles or the chorus, please schedule a spot on September 12 or 13. Be prepared to read from the script, sing a selection from the show. Backing tracks will be played that auditioners will sing along to. Learn and perform basic choreography.
Footlite Musicals is proud to announce open auditions for the Indianapolis premiere of Mean Girls on September 20 and 21. Directed by RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Drew Bryson (Blair St. Clair), assistant directed by Zach Hunnicutt and produced by Nicole Sherlock and Derek Savick-Hesser, with choreography by Abigail Brown and vocal direction by Katie-Rose Connors. Performances January 15-31, 2027.

Company Auditions: Resident Artist Program, Mainstage, Chorus, & Resident Pianists* Fall Audition Dates: October 2-3, 2026 (APPLICATION NOW OPEN). * Pianists apply separately from these audition dates. Composers under consideration for upcoming seasons are Puccini, Verdi, and Rodgers & Hammerstein. Auditions will be held at the Basile Westfield Playhouse 220 N. Union Street, Westfield, IN 46074. Please bring a headshot and theatrical résumé, if you have them. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. The director is seeking performers of all experience levels. This production features a flexible cast portraying multiple roles, as well as a Foley Operator who creates the live sound effects performed on stage. Although age ranges are listed for each role, the character you're voicing may be younger or older. The director is looking for vocal flexibility. Questions?
