ESPN and WWE are joining forces this fall in a groundbreaking partnership that will bring WWE’s biggest Premium Live Events (PLEs) to ESPN platforms earlier than expected. Beginning Saturday, September 20, wrestling fans across the United States will be able to stream all WWE PLEs exclusively through ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer service.
The highly anticipated collaboration will debut with the first-ever Wrestlepalooza, taking place live from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT and promises to be an unforgettable night of action, star power, and history-making moments.
Headlining the stacked card is none other than John Cena, who will make his final in-ring appearance in Indianapolis. The lineup also includes Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre in marquee matchups designed to set the tone for this new era of WWE on ESPN.
“On September 20, WWE and ESPN are coming together for a can’t-miss event to kick off our new partnership,” said WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. “The biggest Superstars in WWE. The biggest brand in sports media. Are you ready?”
For fans eager to witness history live, tickets for Wrestlepalooza go on sale Friday, August 22, at 10 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster. A presale opportunity begins one day earlier on Thursday, August 21. For those seeking the ultimate WWE experience, Wrestlepalooza Priority Pass packages—offered through On Location—include premium seating, exclusive hospitality access, and meet-and-greet opportunities with WWE Superstars.
This event, produced in partnership with Indiana Sports Corp, signals the beginning of ESPN’s exclusive U.S. domestic coverage of all WWE PLEs. Future events on the 2025 calendar include Crown Jewel on October 11 and Survivor Series on November 29. Fans can look forward to streaming marquee spectacles such as WrestleMania®, SummerSlam®, and Money in the Bank® through ESPN’s unlimited plan.
The launch of ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer streaming platform is set for Thursday, August 21, complete with an enhanced ESPN App and new subscriber features. For more information on packages and pricing, fans can visit stream.espn.com.
With Wrestlepalooza set to ignite Indianapolis this September, WWE and ESPN are promising to usher in a new era of sports entertainment—one where the worlds of wrestling and sports media collide on the biggest stage yet.
