Legacy Fest 2025 Returns to the Madam Walker Legacy Center with Isley Brothers Headlining

Legacy Fest is back for its highly anticipated 2025 edition, returning to the historic Madam Walker Legacy Center from June 20–22. This dynamic three-day celebration honors Black excellence through music, culture, and community—culminating in a showstopping headline performance by the legendary Isley Brothers.

Set on the storied Indiana Avenue corridor, Legacy Fest offers a weekend filled with entertainment, education, and enrichment while directly supporting the cultural and educational programs of the Madam Walker Legacy Center. “Legacy Fest is more than a celebration. It’s a key part of sustaining the Center’s work in entrepreneurship, education, and the arts,” said Kristian Little Stricklen, President of the Madam Walker Legacy Center. “By attending, guests invest in a legacy that continues to empower and inspire.”

🎤 Day 1: Legacy Fest Benefit Concert - Friday, June 20 | 8:30 PM

The festival kicks off with the fourth annual Legacy Fest Benefit Concert, headlined by none other than the Isley Brothers. This marquee fundraising event supports the Center’s mission-driven work and promises an unforgettable evening of classic hits and soulful sounds.A private pre-concert sponsor reception will precede the main event.Tickets available now.

Day 2: Legacy Fest Block Party, presented by IU Indianapolis - Saturday, June 21 | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Indiana Avenue transforms into a lively street festival for the Legacy Fest Block Party—a free, family-friendly celebration of Black Music Month. The day features live performances, DJ sets, food trucks, and local vendors.Key attractions include:

Day 3: Legacy Reception & Book Chat: An Afternoon with A’Lelia Bundles - Sunday, June 22 | 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

The weekend concludes with an intimate afternoon featuring A’Lelia Bundles—renowned author and great-great-granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker. The event includes a fireside chat, book signing, and reception paying tribute to Madam Walker’s enduring impact.Tickets available now.
