The city of Indianapolis is about to become the epicenter of women’s sports as it rolls out a star-studded lineup of events for the WNBA All-Star Game Weekend, taking place July 18–19. In a celebration that's as bold as the game itself, Indy is going above and beyond to host what promises to be the biggest and most dynamic WNBA All-Star weekend to date.
Whether you're a die-hard basketball fan, an art lover, or just someone ready to soak up the energy of a city on fire with pride, there’s something for everyone as Indy transforms into “Home Court” for the sport’s top talent and biggest fans.
Fan Festivities and Citywide Experiences
At the heart of the weekend is WNBA Live, a fan fest at the Indiana Convention Center running Friday and Saturday. The immersive experience will feature basketball skills activities, meet-and-greets, exclusive merchandise, and interactive exhibits designed to bring fans even closer to the game they love.
But the action doesn't stop at the convention center.
Over 30 restaurants and venues across the city are joining in with All-Star themed specials and discounts. Whether you’re looking for game-day bites, cocktails inspired by the league’s leading scorers, or a post-game hangout, local businesses are making sure you're fed and festive all weekend long.
Art, Music, and Celebration on Every Corner
In true Indy style, the celebration expands well beyond basketball. Eight female muralists have been commissioned to create new public art installations downtown, adding a vibrant, lasting tribute to women in sports that will remain on display through the end of the year.
“Indy’s Home Court Experience” also features a full lineup of street-level entertainment, including live dance performances, DJ booths, 3D chalk art, sneaker painting demos, basketball court installations, and pop-up lounges, creating an immersive festival atmosphere throughout the city.
Fever Fest and the Hoops Pass
No WNBA city is going harder than Indy, which is home to the Indiana Fever — the only team in the league to host their own All-Star festival. Fever Fest brings together live concerts, comedy acts, and a massive watch party downtown for those without tickets to the main event. It's a fan-first experience designed to ensure everyone gets in on the action.
Fans can also take part in a citywide Hoops Pass challenge. By checking in at iconic basketball-themed spots around town, you can unlock prizes and WNBA swag — a fun, interactive way to explore the city through the lens of the game.
City Takeover: From Airport to Skyscrapers
From the moment visitors touch down at Indianapolis International Airport, they’ll know they’ve arrived somewhere special. A life-size basketball court installation in Civic Plaza greets fans, setting the tone for an unforgettable weekend.
Downtown, the JW Marriott — Indy’s tallest hotel — is wrapped in the largest advertisement in city history, featuring none other than Caitlin Clark, one of the weekend’s biggest draws. Street signs are also being renamed in honor of participating WNBA teams, adding to the excitement and visibility across town.
And in one of the weekend’s most iconic moments, 2,500 youth will dribble through city streets on Saturday morning, cheered on by fans and performers lining the route. While the event is already sold out, it promises to be a heartwarming, high-energy spectacle.
Everyone's Invited
Even if you don’t have a ticket to the game, Indy’s All-Star weekend is designed for you. With nonstop parties, art activations, performances, and community events, the city is throwing open its arms to celebrate the WNBA and the unstoppable momentum of women in sports.
Mark your calendars, grab your sneakers, and come be part of the history. This isn’t just a game — it’s a movement. And Indy is ready.
