Indianapolis Ballet Unveils 2025/2026 Season

Indianapolis Ballet, Inc. is thrilled to announce its robust 2025/65 season. Approaching its ninth full artistic season, Indianapolis Ballet will be presenting eight productions beginning with the uplifting performances of Beyond Ballet, a part of the annual IndyFringe Theatre Festival. This season is full of company premieres, such as George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco, to world premieres of original works choreographed by the Indianapolis Ballet artistic team. The elegant fairytale ballet, The Sleeping Beauty, is also featured and will be another show stopping collaboration with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra at Clowes Memorial Hall.
The Indianapolis School of Ballet is also celebrating its 20th anniversary as students of the School will be featured in productions throughout the season, including Ethereal Blue to Fiery Red. The 2025/26 season will surely showcase how Indianapolis Ballet is propelling ballet forward here in the Circle City.

Beyond Ballet IndyFringe Theatre Festival | August 14 - 23, 2025
A part of Indianapolis’ annual IndyFringe Theatre Festival, Beyond Ballet features our artists in multiple lights as they perform works from classical ballet to jazz. Many works featured in this production include choreography by Founding Artistic Director Victoria Lyras, Assistant Artistic Director Kristin Young Toner, and premieres choreographed by your Indianapolis Ballet artists.
Legacy in Motion Tobias Theater at Newfields | September 19 - 21, 2025

The Nutcracker Clowes Memorial Hall | December 18 - 21, 2025
Join Clara on her incredible Christmas Eve journey to the Land of the Sweets with Indianapolis Ballet’s annual holiday tradition of The Nutcracker. Since 2007, our production of The Nutcracker has continued to enchant audiences here in central Indiana. You will be swept away by swirling snowflakes, waltzing flowers, and the majestic Sugar Plum Fairy as Tchaikovsky’s beloved score fills Clowes Memorial Hall.
Family Series: Nutcracker Sweets Tobias Theater at Newfields | December 27 – 30, 2025
