Families searching for fun, educational activities this summer need look no further than the Wabash County Museum. The beloved Museum Explorers Scavenger Hunt returns June 3 and runs through August 1, offering kids an exciting way to explore the museum, engage their curiosity, and earn prizes along the way.
This hands-on adventure invites young visitors to dive into interactive exhibits and use creative thinking to complete challenges throughout the museum. Designed with screen-free, educational entertainment in mind, the scavenger hunt is perfect for families looking to make the most of summer break.
“This program is a fantastic way to spark curiosity and get kids to interact with our exhibits in a meaningful way,” said Teresa Galley, Executive Director of the Wabash County Museum. “It’s all about discovery, creative thinking, and making learning fun all summer long.”
A fresh set of scavenger hunt challenges will launch in July, encouraging repeat visits and keeping the experience new and exciting for returning explorers.
Thanks to the support of local sponsors, the scavenger hunt is included with regular museum admission. H & S Towing and Recovery, LLC. sponsors the activity itself, while prizes are provided courtesy of Advance America.
The Wabash County Museum is located at 36 E Market Street in downtown Wabash. Visitors can stop by anytime during summer hours to begin their adventure.
