The Cabaret’s 2026 Spring-Summer Season promises to ignite Indianapolis with a bold fusion of Broadway star power, international artistry, and world-class jazz — all delivered in one of the most intimate and acclaimed performance spaces in the country. With a lineup stacked with Tony winners, Grammy recipients, global sensations, and the best of Indiana’s own creative scene, this season is poised to be one of The Cabaret’s most exhilarating yet.

The Glick Philanthropies Broadway at The Cabaret Series welcomes a spectacular roster of headliners, including:

·       Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon, Girls)

·       Broadway’s beloved power couple Eva Noblezada & Reeve Carney (Cabaret, Hadestown)

·       Comedy icon and Broadway favorite Ana Gasteyer (Wicked, Once Upon a Mattress)

·       Tony Award winner Lindsay Mendez (Merrily We Roll Along, Carousel)

·       The incomparable Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years, Parade, The Bridges of Madison County) with Sierra Boggess and Nasia Thomas.

International cabaret phenomenon Meow Meow returns as part of the Christel DeHaan International Series, while West End and Broadway powerhouse Marisha Wallace (Cabaret) makes her highly anticipated debut at The Cabaret fresh off rave reviews from her run at Café Carlyle.

The Cabaret’s celebrated jazz programming also shines this season, featuring Grammy-winning duo Cécile McLorin Salvant & Sullivan Fortner, crooner Tony DeSare with a Cole Porter–inspired evening, and beloved Indy talents including Bashiri Asad. Fan-favorite offerings such as the Ball State University Next Generation Cabaret and The Big Broadway Sing-Along round out a season designed to thrill audiences across genres.

“Cabaret is where music becomes a conversation,” said Shannon Forsell, Artistic Director and CEO of The Cabaret. “It’s a space where artists share not just their voices, but their stories — and audiences become part of the experience. In our venue, every lyric lands closer, every moment feels handcrafted, and the connection between performer and audience is unlike anything else in the arts. This season amplifies that magic with artists who know how to turn intimacy into electricity.”

Beyond the mainstage, The Cabaret proudly presents the return of the 2026 Alley Sessions, a free outdoor summer concert series that transforms the alley into a vibrant open-air soundscape. This year’s Sessions feature an eclectic mix of Indianapolis artists — including Mariah Ivey, Troy Thomas with TruMusiq, Steve Allee, The Band Downstairs, Pavel & Direct Contact, and Stephanie Allen-Stevenson & Composition — showcasing hip-hop, soul, Latin, jazz, rock, and more in a lively, community-centered atmosphere.
