ComedySportz Indianapolis Announces 2025 Holiday Programming

Tickets are now available for ComedySportz Indianapolis’ lineup of holiday shows. 

This year’s selection includes the return of fan favorite “A Christmas Carol: Unscripted,” now in its 28th year running, along with the debut of “Die Hard Christmas: An Improvised Parody” and regularly-scheduled ComedySportz matches with a festive twist. Special stand-up and improv programming from guest artists will fill out the rest of the slate.

In “A Christmas Carol: Unscripted,” skilled improvisers from the Comedysportz Indianapolis roster will take the classic Charles Dickens tale and turn it on its head. Tickets to both family-friendly and 17 and over shows are available for this offering.

“I love being able to revisit this timeless holiday story with all the ridiculous changes that our audience throws at us. The message of Scrooge’s redemption never changes, but the rest of it gets wonderfully wild,” ComedySportz Indianapolis founder Ed Trout shared.

For audiences looking for a different kind of holiday celebration, “Die Hard Christmas: An Improvised Parody” will see improvisers take the 1988 classic and blow it sky-high with spontaneous twists. All shows for this production will be for audiences 17 and over.

“I’m really excited to bring this improvised version of Die Hard to the Wit Theater,” remarked ComedySportz Indianapolis owner Chad Woodward. “The challenge of whether Die Hard is a Christmas movie has been a topic of conversation for families for years. I’m so excited for us to take an improvised tour to truly find out.”
