The Contemporary Art Museum of Indianapolis (CAMi), operated by nonprofit Big Car Collaborative, will host FOUND Magazine's 25th Anniversary Tour performance on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 7:00–9:30 p.m.

FOUND Magazine began in Chicago in 2001, when This American Life storyteller Davy Rothbart started collecting discarded notes, letters, and other handwritten ephemera and compiling them into a handcrafted zine. What started in the back of a video store quickly grew into a nationwide phenomenon — a cult sensation with 50-state tours, repeat appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman and This American Life, a Broadway musical, a hit podcast, and a new documentary television series in production with the Duplass Brothers.

The live show is a signature blend of performance and storytelling: Rothbart shares the latest finds to arrive at FOUND headquarters alongside all-time favorites, uncensored stories from his This American Life work, and surprises that have earned the show praise from audiences and critics across the country. The Los Angeles Times calls it "utterly engaging,” and the New York Times describes Rothbart's storytelling as "riveting, uproarious."

Joining Davy is Michigan musician and activist Seth Bernard, whose work has drawn comparisons to Neil Young and Eddie Vedder. Northern Express has called Bernard "Michigan's preeminent musician/activist — a brilliant songwriter and soulful warrior for environmental, economic, and racial justice."

Indianapolis holds a special place in FOUND's history. Over the past two-plus decades, the FOUND team has returned repeatedly to the city through an ongoing collaborative relationship with Big Car. This June visit marks both a homecoming and a milestone — a celebration of 25 years of collective human expression, humor, heartbreak, and the unexpected beauty of everyday life.

The event takes place at CAMi's Basile Performing Arts and Event Hall in the newly opened Main building. The CAMi campus — located on the near southside of Indianapolis in the Garfield Park neighborhood — includes nine galleries, 18 artist studios, a public greenspace, and more.

Tickets for the event are $12.51 and are available for purchase through Eventbrite
