Epsilon Theatrical Company is thrilled about our upcoming production of Tuesdays with Morrie. This deeply moving story about friendship, mentorship, and the lessons that matter most in life is coming to life on stage. Scott Stockton will take the stage as Morrie and J Charles Weimer will portray Mitch. It is being directed by Afton Shepard.
Tuesdays with Morrie is a story detailing the author’s visits to see his professor, Morrie, who was sentenced to death by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a disease that targets the neurological system. Going up against the clock, the professor wanted to give his last class about “Life’. Both the teacher and the student agreed to meet every Tuesday where they discuss issues that most people are facing in their daily life.
May is observed as ALS Awareness Month in the United States, dedicated to raising funds, supporting families, and advancing research for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (often known as Lou Gehrig's disease). We will have materials on hand at each performance to help raise awareness for ALS and will have a representative from ALS United Indiana connecting with our cast as well as being available to answer questions about ALS at select performances. Help us spread the word about this heartwarming story.
Performances are June 5-14 at Broadway United Methodist Church. Tickets available online now:
