R&B legends Brandy and Monica are hitting the road together for the first time ever, officially announcing The Boy Is Mine Tour, a 24-city arena run kicking off this fall. Produced by Black Promoters Collective, the highly anticipated tour will stop in Indianapolis on Sunday, October 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m., with presales available on Thursday, June 26 using the code GFMINE.

More than 25 years after their chart-topping, culture-shifting duet “The Boy Is Mine” dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 consecutive weeks, the iconic GRAMMY-winning artists are reuniting onstage in a celebration of legacy, evolution, and timeless R&B. The hit placed them alongside legends like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey for commanding the Hot 100’s top spot for over 13 weeks.

Joining Brandy and Monica on the road are a trio of powerhouse performers: GRAMMY-winning superstar Kelly Rowland, acclaimed singer-songwriter Muni Long, and American Idol Season 23 winner Jamal Roberts. With a lineup that bridges the past, present, and future of R&B, the tour is poised to become one of the most unforgettable music events of the year.

The reunion follows their surprise cameo in Ariana Grande’s “the boy is mine” music video, part of her GRAMMY-nominated album Eternal Sunshine. Brandy and Monica later joined Grande on the official remix, which earned the trio a GRAMMY nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance—decades after the original song won Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group at the 1999 GRAMMY Awards.

“This really is a full-circle moment,” Brandy said in a statement. “Monica and I coming together again isn’t just about the music—it’s about honoring where we came from and how far we’ve both come. This tour is a celebration of growth, sisterhood, and the love our fans have given us from day one.”

Monica echoed the sentiment: “The love that ‘The Boy Is Mine’ continues to receive means everything to me. This tour is a celebration of our history, our impact, and the fans who have grown with us. We’re giving the people what they’ve been asking for—doing it with grace, love, and purpose.”

Shelby Joyner, President of Black Promoters Collective, called the tour a “cultural homecoming,” noting that The Boy Is Mine remains “one of the most iconic collaborations of all time.”

Fans can expect an electrifying night of vocal brilliance, soulful hits, and collaborative moments between two of the genre’s most influential voices. Backed by a live band, each stop on the tour promises to deliver not just a concert, but a musical milestone.

To build excitement, a cinematic mini-movie directed by Ethan Tobman (known for work with Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Ariana Grande) has been released as a visual prelude to the tour, showcasing a bold and emotional tribute to Brandy and Monica’s legacy.
