Looking for an affordable way to celebrate the holiday weekend while exploring some of Central Indiana’s top cultural attractions? Bank of America’s Museums on Us® program is giving eligible cardholders free general admission to participating museums and cultural institutions on Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5.

The program, which takes place during the first full weekend of every month, provides Bank of America, Merrill, and Bank of America Private Bank credit and debit cardholders complimentary access to more than 250 cultural institutions across the United States. In the Indianapolis area, three popular destinations are participating this month.

Participating Indianapolis-Area Museums

Conner Prairie - Located in Fishers, Conner Prairie is one of the nation’s most acclaimed living history museums. Guests can step back in time through interactive exhibits, historical reenactments, and hands-on experiences that bring Indiana’s past to life.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum - Racing enthusiasts can explore the rich history of motorsports at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. The museum showcases legendary race cars, memorabilia, and exhibits celebrating the iconic Indianapolis 500 and the Speedway’s global racing legacy.

Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields - One of the largest and oldest art museums in the United States, the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields features an extensive collection spanning centuries and cultures, as well as beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces.

How to Receive Free Admission

To take advantage of the Museums on Us® benefit, cardholders must present a valid Bank of America, Merrill, or Bank of America Private Bank credit or debit card along with a photo ID at participating institutions. The offer provides free general admission for the cardholder only; guests are not eligible for complimentary admission.

Visitors are encouraged to check directly with each museum for current operating hours, admission guidelines, and any restrictions before visiting.

Expanding Access to Arts and Culture

Bank of America created Museums on Us® as part of its commitment to strengthening communities, supporting local economies, and expanding access to arts and culture. The program helps connect people with artistic, historical, and educational experiences while making cultural attractions more accessible.

The benefit is available during the first full weekend of every month and includes museums, science centers, botanical gardens, aquariums, children’s museums, and historical institutions across 123 cities in 35 states.

Whether you're a history buff, art lover, racing fan, or simply looking for a unique family outing over the holiday weekend, Museums on Us® offers a great opportunity to experience some of Indianapolis’ premier cultural destinations at no cost.
