The Indiana Repertory Theatre has announced its 2026–2027 Season. Scheduled from September 23, 2026 through May 9, 2027, the IRT’s 54th Season will bring heart-pounding mystery, feel-good family comedy, treasured traditions, golden-era classics, and more in the six-play production lineup.

“We are thrilled to announce our 2026–2027 Season that will offer our community a beautiful mixture of new, award-winning work, and timeless classics. Our next season is especially exciting because the IRT will be co-producing works alongside four major regional theatres from around the country. Collaborating with other institutions means we not only welcome new artistic voices to Indianapolis, but we share our work with communities nationwide,” said Benjamin Hanna, IRT’s Margot Lacy Eccles Artistic Director.

The 2026–2027 Season will open with The Da Vinci Code, based on the international bestselling thriller by Dan Brown. In October, the play that inspired the beloved Netflix show Kim’s Convenience opens, followed by the annual holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol. In January, Branden Jacob-Jenkins’ Pulitzer Prize– and Tony Award–winning Purpose takes the stage. February will feature Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women by America’s most-produced living playwright, Laura M. Gunderson. And the season closes out with a big Broadway musical, the enduring favorite Guys and Dolls.

“We love sharing our new season with patrons and hearing what shows they are excited about. This incredible lineup has something for everyone, and we look forward to welcoming our community to explore new and classic works that resonate deeply,” said Suzanne Sweeney, IRT’s Managing Director.

The 2026–2027 Season is generously supported by OneAmerica Financial, marking over three decades of theatre arts support from the organization.
