In 2025, IF Theatre and the Flanner House Arts; Stage Academy came together to work towards two essential goals: reducing the barriers for BIPOC hoosiers to receive an arts education and participate in local cultural initiatives like the IndyFringe Festival and OnyxFest, and to create both free and low-cost theatrical experiences for residents on the Northwest side of Indianapolis.

Whether you're drawn to the cutting-edge works at Gallery 924, the rhythms of Chreece Hip-Hop Festival, or the storytelling of the Indianapolis Black Documentary Film Festival, this month is all about celebrating the voices that shape Indy’s cultural landscape.
