Indianapolis is getting ready to pass “GO” and claim its place on one of the world’s most recognizable game boards.

Top Trumps USA, the American division of Winning Moves International, will launch MONOPOLY: Indianapolis Edition in spring 2027 under license from Hasbro. The new edition will celebrate the businesses, nonprofits, landmarks and cultural institutions that help define the Circle City—and local residents are invited to help decide what makes the board.

Instead of the classic Atlantic City properties, such as Boardwalk and Park Place, the Indianapolis edition will feature destinations and organizations from across the city. The game will also include customized Community Chest and Chance cards, along with specially designed MONOPOLY money, creating a distinctly Indianapolis experience from start to finish.

“Indianapolis is such a unique community with rich history. We aim to ensure that MONOPOLY: Indianapolis Edition is an accurate portrayal of what Indianapolis locals and tourists love about this charming city,” said Lindsay Wallace, a Top Trumps representative. “From the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and historic Indianapolis staples like Monument Circle and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, we would love for everyone to get on board and send us recommendations of their favorite organizations and landmarks around town.”

To capture the spirit of Indianapolis as accurately as possible, Top Trumps is asking the public to nominate the places they believe deserve a square on the board. The opportunity extends beyond major attractions, giving residents a chance to spotlight beloved neighborhood destinations, local institutions and community organizations.

Established Indianapolis businesses and nonprofits may also inquire about opportunities to become part of the board, creating a lasting presence in a game that could be enjoyed by residents and visitors for generations.
