The Indy Art Center is making it easy to plan a creative outing you can enjoy with your Valentine, complete with a kid component that means you don’t have to find childcare.
On Feb. 7 and 14, couples can enjoy a Valentine Date Night with Make It Take It art experiences while kids attend a Valentine’s Art Party, all in one place, at the Indy Art Center, 820 E. 67th St. in Broad Ripple.
Kids ages 4 to 10 will enjoy artmaking crafts, games and a snack while adults create a piece of art they’ll take home. Valentine’s Art Parties are offered at two timeslots, 4-6 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m., and kids will be grouped by age, 4-6 and 6-10.
“It’s fun for the adults and for the kids, and no one has to plan childcare,” said Michelle O’Halleran, vice president of education and innovation at the Indy Art Center.
