The Indianapolis Children’s Choir will transport guests to the City of Light during its largest annual fundraiser of the year. The ICC Gala: Midnight in Paris will take place Friday, October 23, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in downtown Indianapolis.
The elegant evening plays an important role in supporting the choir’s mission. With more than half of its funding coming from donations, ICC provides music and choral opportunities to more than 2,500 children throughout Central Indiana each year.
“We’re seeing an unprecedented need for donations,” said Joshua Pedde, ICC’s executive artistic director. “More families have requested financial assistance than ever before, indicating that many children want to participate but don’t have the means to do so. Events like this help fund our financial assistance program and our outreach programming, ensuring that all children can continue to access the choral music experiences that we offer.”
Guests attending Midnight in Paris can expect an evening filled with French-inspired elegance, music and opportunities to support ICC. The program will include live performances by ICC singers, photo opportunities, a whiskey pull and a silent auction featuring thoughtfully assembled packages donated by choir members and local businesses.
The evening will also feature hors d’oeuvres, dinner in the Scottish Rite Cathedral’s Grand Ballroom, beer and wine, and a signature cocktail and mocktail created for the occasion.
Individual tickets are $125, while tables for eight are available for $1,000. Tickets include food, beverages and the evening’s musical programming. Reservations must be made by October 16.
The ICC Gala: Midnight in Paris will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, October 23, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 650 N. Meridian St. Tickets and additional information are available at icchoir.org/gala.
