Harvest Nights Returns to Newfields 9/30

Harvest Nights presented by JPMorgan Chase will return running from September 30 through October 30, with spooky, not scary, fun for fall. This year guests can expect all of their favorite parts of Harvest Nights, like the Pumpkin Path of Peril, the Ghost Train and Mischief Manor to return with a few added surprises.

Harvest Nights is back and the autumn celebration in The Garden at Newfields continues in a spooky light. Guests of all ages enjoy this one-of-a-kind outdoor walking experience. Explore the gorgeous fall foliage under the harvest moonlight, say hello to the many characters of Harvest Nights, be wowed by thousands of glowing jack-o-lanterns, indulge in a local drink, discover haunted history and much more.

Tickets to this year’s Harvest Nights are $25 for public adults, $17 for public youth, $20 for member adults, $13 for member youth, $23 for Seniors (ages 55+) and children five in under remain free. Access Pass holders will be able to purchase Harvest Nights tickets for $2 admission.

New this year, Newfields is offering a Harvest Nights Premier Ticket and a new Seasonal Flex Pass. The premier ticket is $45 for public adults and $40 for member adults. The premier ticket includes admission for one adult ticket to Harvest Nights, express entry, Harvest blinky lights, cider or hot cocoa and Just Pop In! caramel corn.

The Seasonal Flex Pass is designed for the Newfields super-fan. With this all-in-one pass, guests get discounted tickets to all your favorite seasonal experiences including, THE LUME Indianapolis, Harvest Nights  and Winterlights. This all-access pass is $58 per person and only available for a limited time. Before guests embark on their journey down the Pumpkin Path of Peril they should stop at Garden Terrace outside of the Playhouse, Newfields’ new outdoor food and beverage destination, to grab some fall themed snacks. New to this year’s Harvest Nights menu are the Cinnamon Bavarian Crème Churros paired with white chocolate sauce and Hotel Tango Distillery’s Spooky Campfire Cocoa, which is your traditional hot cocoa infused with Hotel Tango Distillery’s Toasted Marshmallow Bourbon. This year’s menu will also feature fan favorites like the signature Harvest Nights drink, The Indiana Applejack by West Fork Whiskey Co., Sun King Brewing Co.’s seasonal beers, Just Pop In! caramel corn and giant pretzels from Half Liter.

After trekking down the Pumpkin Path of Peril, past the Ghost Train, and over the Interurban Bridge, there will be another opportunity for sips and snacks, just outside of the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse. Then, guests will head to the Lilly House where the Mischief Manor comes to life. Mischief Manor, produced by Blockhouse Studios, a state-of-the-art projection mapping show is projected onto the historic Lilly House. This year the party will come to life with No Exit performers portraying party goers around the house. In a major new addition, Lilly House will be open and completely decked out in fantastically frightful decorations. So, stop by the kitchen to see what is being cooked up in the Mad Scientist Lab. 

Kick off the season with the Spirited Mixer at Harvest Nights on September 28. Guests will be able to get a sneak peek of Harvest Nights, while sampling Oktoberfest style beers, fall wines and local spirits. Live music and fall treats will also be available for guests to enjoy.

Celebrate the opening of Harvest Nights at Member and Community Partner Day on Thursday, September 29. Newfields members are invited to see the outdoor experience first with the purchase of a $20 member ticket. Newfields is also partnering with several community partners to extend complimentary tickets to experience Harvest Nights before it opens to the public. 

On October 1, Newfields is hosting the Hocus Pocus Drag Show in partnership with Indy Pride featuring lively performances inspired by the cult classic film, Hocus Pocus. VIP guests will enjoy a cocktail hour and photo opportunity with the Queens before heading into the show. All tickets include one free signature cocktail, beer or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice and 8 PM entry into Harvest Nights.

Cap off the season with Art or Treat at Harvest Nights. On Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 guests of all ages can come and gather goodies in treat bags designed by Indianapolis-based artist, Gary Gee, of The Eighteen Art Collective. Pricing for Art or Treat is $30 for public adults, $22 for public youth, $25 for member adult, $18 for member youth, $28 for seniors and children five and under remain free. Access Pass holders will be able to purchase Art or Treat at Harvest Nights tickets for $2 admission.
